Space to Feel Better

Children and young people can sometimes benefit from therapeutic intervention for all sorts of reasons. Mental Health difficulties can creep up on children just like adults.  Depression, anxiety, low self esteem and challenging behaviours are some examples of the difficulties we see.  Creative therapy is a playful way to explore difficulties with children and help them to find resolution. Creative Therapies integrates a range of therapeutic models including Dramamtherapy, Mindfulness, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Theraplayy and anger / anxiety management techniques.  Sessions might include games, stories, making, singing, drawing and of course talking.  Children sometimes like parents to stay in therapy sessions and this is okay.  Therapy sessions are always child centred and bespoke to each individual young person according to need, interest and age.
