Dramatherapy is a Psychological Therapy which uses arts, play and creativity to explore themes and difficulties. Often working indirectly Dramatherapy can bypass conscious barriers. Drama, play and performance can be used with Dramatherapy, but is a small part of the process and not compulsory. Story work, arts and crafts and movement and creative methods can be explored to find what suits the client. Mindfulness techniques are also regularly incorporated.
Dramatherapy can help with a range of concerns such as low mood / depression, anxiety, trauma and behavioural difficulties.
